You'll learn how to build a Joomla website, from content and user organization, to working with extensions and templates. This class uses the latest version of Joomla, but questions on all versions are welcome.

Pre-Requisites

There are no pre-requisites for the beginner class. We assume that all students in our beginner classes start with no Joomla experience.

Class Trainer

Bo Astrup
Bo Astrup's background ranges from Chief Technology Officer and music production to IT training and consulting in both the private and government sectors. Bo has been involved with designing content management systems since 1989 and was delighted to see the Open Source community take off. He has been involved with Joomla since its early days. He is a partner in Collaborative Fusion Group, a Los Angeles based Joomla engineering firm which offers customized Joomla based websites and intranets. Bo is also organizer and assistant organizer of two Joomla meetups in the Los Angeles area.
