Subjects Taught

You'll learn how to build a Joomla website, from content and user organization, to working with extensions and templates. This class uses the latest version of Joomla, but questions on all versions are welcome.

Pre-Requisites

There are no pre-requisites for the beginner class. We assume that all students in our beginner classes start with no Joomla experience.

Class Trainer

For the last 15 years Ed Andrea has been creating and managing web development projects. During the last 20 years he taught Continuing Education Classes to real estate agents. He developed the web marketing curriculum for the Washington Realtor’s Association and Seattle King County Association of Realtors. He was an approved instructor for Top Producer Software, and taught their sponsored classes and seminars. He runs specializes in Joomla, WordPress and Drupal.

Class Location

• Location: On-Track Computer Training Ltd., 1600 – 650 W. Georgia St, Vancouver BC V6B 4N7
• Directions: If driving, there are parades located next to the building on Seymour or turn right off of Seymour onto Georgia and there is a parkade on your right. If you are coming on the sky train, get off at the Granville station. Once you come to the top of the escalators, take the Seymour exit and turn right at the top of the stairs. The training facility is right on the corner, across from The Bay in the Scotia Tower.
